A shout out of thanks to TransCanada Corporation! They recently approved a grant for $3,500 which will enabled our Habitat to build an onsite storage solution thereby saving hundreds of dollars each year in rental fees. We will now be able to place the savings towards our housing program. Thank you TransCanada Corporation! Heartfelt gratitude to Great Lakes Energy People Fund for making possible a $1,200 grant so that we could operate better through a new register and some electrical work. We are getting it programmed and can't wait to movie it out onto the sales floor!
We love volunteers!
Together we can do more, and we did! Because of the generosity of people like you, Otsego County Habitat for Humanity is able to help more of our local residents, who own their own home, live in it, and need help with aging-in-place upgrades, critical repairs, painting, or weatherization.
Together we make a difference to local homeowners through improving their homes so they are healthy and safe to live in.
Our volunteer opportunities vary based on the current needs in our community. It takes a variety of backgrounds working together to make a transformational change in houses to impact lives. Strengthening a community can be challenging, but also is very rewarding! To find out about volunteering, click here.
